This site is a place for long-form analysis that is too nuanced for a social feed and too practical to remain an abstract thought experiment.
The editorial rules are simple: prefer primary sources, show the assumptions, separate facts from inference, and include the strongest counterargument.
What you will not find
No engagement bait, hidden sponsorships, autoplay, popups, or manufactured urgency. If a piece contains a material conflict or commercial relationship, it should be disclosed plainly.
AI disclosure
Generative AI is a substantial part of how this site is made.
I use AI systems across research, outlining, drafting, editing, adversarial review, software development, and visual production. The degree varies by piece, and every essay carries an article-level disclosure.
Evidence
AI output is not treated as a source. Essays are built to link factual claims to primary material, expose model assumptions, distinguish inference from fact, and present the strongest countercase.
Visuals and software
AI-generated hero imagery is labeled in its caption. Generative AI also contributes materially to the design, code, testing, and maintenance of the site itself.
This process can reduce some errors and introduce others. Corrections and challenges to the published work are welcome. Last updated August 1, 2026.

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate readership and performance. These tools are cookie-free and do not build advertising profiles. The site has no advertising trackers, comments, or newsletter form.
